Hypothermia is a type of condition, which an affected person’s temperature drops below the required normal body functions. Body temperature must be maintained at a constant level or near constant level. When an affected person is exposed to extreme cold, the internal body parts fail to replenish the lost heat needed by the body. This kind of condition can lead to serious injury or even death. Hypothermia is the opposite of hyperthermia, which is the condition that causes heat stroke. Symptoms of Hypothermia Normal body temperature is 37°C. Any changes in the body temperature beyond it’s normal can cause disturbance.
