Home Remedy for Diphteria

Diphtheria is caused by bacterial infection that can spread easily on the nose and throat areas. Mostly children under 5 years old and adults over 60 years old are more susceptible to this disease. Although this condition is rare in developed countries like United State, Canada and UK it is still common among developing countries. The last recorded occurrence of diphtheria outbreaks is on 1993-1994 in former Soviet Union countries.

This kind of disease is highly contagious. Which means, it can be easily passed from one person to another by means of:

* Coughing
* Kissing
* laughing
* Sharing glass in drinking

The incubation period of the diphtheria virus is from 2 to 4 days.

* Living in unclean and crowded condition
* Undernourishment

Symptoms of Diphtheria

* Sweating
* Sore Throat
* Anxiousness
* Nasal discharge
* Neck Swelling
* Slurred speech
* Double vision
* Rapid heartbeat
* Low-grade fever
* Breathing difficulties
