Cholera is also known as Asiatic cholera or epidemic cholera, is an infectious gastroenteritis caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. It is a water borne disease and is common during the monsoon. Mortality rate for this disease is quite high especially from those who are living in tropical areas.
