American Idol Top 24 Contenders

American Idol TV Program on its Season 7 is one of the hottest show in the US as well as all over the world. In the Philippines were prided that a Fil-am is again on the list of the top contenders by the name of Ramiele Malubay. I searched for Ramiele's Info and I found this:

She was born in Miramar, Florida, but has strong connections to the Tampa area. She graduated from Zephyrhills High School. She has always enjoyed singing, and now that she is 19 she has made it to American Idol Season 7. For her audition in Miami she sang “Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin and it amazed the judges that such a big voice came out of such a little girl.

As for her musical influences, Ramiele names Asia’s Regine Velasquez as her favorite along with Aretha Franklin, the Jackson 5, Mariah Carey, and Lani Misalucha. She is Filipino-American, just like Jasmine Trias of Season 3, who went platinum in the Philippines. Ramiele hopes to have a career like her Idol, and perhaps even become the winner of American Idol Season 7. That would make her the first Asian-American to win.

Ramiele is a fun, light spirited girl as you can see from her photos. Her personality and talent has helped her build a huge fan base in the Philippines as well as the states. They have already made sites dedicated to the Asian beauty, where they leave comments such as,

“as you can see the whole country is very proud of you, but don’t let it affect you. just do your best!!! now it comes to song choices…. good luck and I assure you that the Filipinos will be praying for you.”

Ramiele Malubay was previously studying to become a nurse and working in a Sushi restaurant. Her dreams are just within her reach. With her whole family supporting her, she believes she can win. She is grateful for their support.
