Home Remedy for Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism is a condition of too much thyroid hormone on tissues of the body. When the body's metabolism is increased, affected persons often feel hotter than those around them and can slowly lose weight even though they may be eating more than the average person does. Weight is confusing since some affected person actually gains weight due to an increase in eating appetite.

At the end of each day the affected person may experience fatigue but even it is the case they find it difficult to catch a sleep. Irritability and easily angered can be also present to those who are affected with hyperthyroidism.

For some affected person, it may not show any sign and just lose weight and may become depressed.

Ingestion of excessive iodine
Ingestion of large amounts of thyroid hormone
Non-cancerous growths of the thyroid gland or pituitary gland
